In order to stay within Tops' coupon policy and to maximize my gas points earnings, I made my first of several planned trips this week. Here is the breakdown of today's shopping:
4 boxes Trix cereal - $0.30 each, see note
On sale 4/$6 (must buy quantities of 4 in order to get this price, otherwise they are $2.50 each), used 4 $0.60 coupons (double to $1.20) printed from here (there are also $0.50 coupons here, making them $0.50 each after the coupon doubles)
Note: I paid $1.20 out-of-pocket for the 4 boxes, but registered for a $0.50 eCoupon at SavingStar before I shopped. After the eCoupon gets refunded to me, I will have paid a total of $0.70 (or $0.18 per box).
1 box Kraft macaroni & cheese - $0.50
On sale 10/$10, used a $0.50 Tops Monopoly coupon
*This earned a bonus Monopoly ticket
4 boxes Better Oatmeal - $0.45 each
On sale 10/$10, used 2 $0.55 off 2 coupons (double to $1.10) printed from their Facebook page (these have been reset, so if you used this coupon in the past try printing it again!)
8 Tony's Crispy Crust pizzas - $0.50 each
On sale 10/$10, used 4 $0.50 off 2 coupons (double to $1) printed from here (I printed this last week, and I'm not seeing it as available now, so it may be out of prints -- but try zip 77477 if you don't see it)
The retail cost of this transaction was $34.83 and I paid just $7.50 after discounts and coupons, for a savings of over 78%. I am also now at a gas discount of $1.90 per gallon.
I am planning on getting more Trix, oatmeal, and pizzas this week, as well as some other items. Stay tuned for tomorrow's shopping trip!
