I'm back to shopping multiple times at Tops this week in order to maximize my gas points (10 points per manufacturer coupon, maximum of 100 points per transaction), so here is a run-down of my 2nd and 3rd shopping trip deals of this week:
Trip 2

Regularly priced at $3.99, marked down to $0.80 due to a close sell by date
Note: These were an unadvertised deal I found in the meat cooler case at the Mt. Read store -- look for the yellow clearance label on them. They were marked down even further to $0.60 as of yesterday and there were still a lot of them left when I was there.
I also bought chicken breasts on sale for $1.79 per pound.
The retail cost of this trip of was $69.78 and I paid $21.72 after coupons and discounts, for a savings of 69%.
Trip 3

I need to build up my meat stash, so I bought more chicken breasts on sale for $1.79 per pound.
The retail cost of this 3rd transaction was $102.65 and after coupons and discounts I paid $38.49, for a savings of about 63%.
I'm now up to a gas discount of $0.60 per gallon, and I will probably make 1 more trip this week to increase that amount even more.
