9/25 - 10/1 Tops deals

I hit Tops early this morning to snag a few deals.  In order to maximize my bonus gas points (10 points per manufacturer coupon with a limit of 100 bonus points per transaction) I had my groceries rung up in two transactions:

Transaction 1

1 bag of 8 o'clock coffee - $2.49
On sale for $4.99, used $1 store coupon from the Tops ad (with $20 purchase) plus $0.75 manufacturer coupon (doubles to $1.50) from the October issue of All You magazine
Note: If you don't have access to the coupon from All You there is a $2 off 2 coupon after registering here (click on the coupon box in the upper right corner).  Since you can only use 1 store coupon per transaction and the manufacturer coupon requires you to buy 2, it would be $6.98 for 2 bags ($3.49 each).

1 box Honey Nut Cheerios -$1.00
On sale 4/$10, used a $0.75 coupon (doubles to $1.50) I received in the mail

4 boxes of Bagel-fuls - $1.40 each
On sale 2/$5, used 4 $0.55 coupons (double to $1.10) from coupons.com (use zip 90210 if you don't see it)

7 boxes of Scotties tissues - 2 FREE and 5 @ $0.80 each
On sale 10/$10, used 2 $1.00 coupons printed from coupons.com but no longer available and 1 $1.00 off 5 coupon from the 9/18 Red Plum insert

2 boxes Barilla whole wheat pasta - $0.75 each
On sale 4/$5, used $1 off 2 coupon from the 9/18 SmartSource insert

The total retail value was $35.75 and I paid $14.81 after discounts and coupons, for a savings of about 59%.

Transaction 2

3 Clif bars - $0.67 each
On sale 10/$10, used $1 off 3 coupon from a free coupon book I picked up from the Nature's Marketplace section in Wegmans a couple of months ago
Note: There is a $1 off coupon here, but it is for a variety that wasn't on sale (at least not at my store, but it may still be a good deal with the coupon -- unfortunately I don't remember the price on the shelf)

2 boxes Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal - $1.00 each
On sale 4/$10, used 2 $0.75 coupons (double to $1.50) from here

3 boxes of Wheaties - $1.00 each
On sale 4/$10, used 3 $0.75 coupons (double to $1.50) from here

The total retail value was $23.42, and I paid just $7.00 after discounts and coupons (approximately 70% savings).

Now that we are in a new gas points collection period, I have earned $0.20 off per gallon.  I have my sights set high on another hefty discount this time!  I will go back later this week to use my meat coupon that came in the mail last week, plus I'll be keeping my eyes open for any more deals I may have missed today.
